Service Providers

Investcorp Capital’s external service providers include, but are not limited to, the following individuals. These professionals are part of the Investcorp Group and serve as experts under the Master Services Agreement. While they are not employees of Investcorp Capital, they contribute to its operations by providing specialized support in accordance with the terms of the MSA.

Manal AlAlaiwat is the Corporate General Services Manager for Gulf and Asia at Investcorp, where she has been part of the team since December 2016. She holds a BSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and an MBA, with over 20 years of experience in facilities and administrative services. Manal is responsible for the effective supervision and strategic management of Investcorp’s facilities, projects, physical security, and general services functions across Gulf and Asia offices. She has contributed to Investcorp’s expansion in Asia, including the opening of offices in Singapore, Beijing, and three locations in India.
 

Firas El Amine is a Managing Director and Global Head of Corporate Communications at Investcorp with responsibility for overseeing the firm’s global communications, branding, thought leadership, corporate affairs and media relations. Firas serves as a member of the firm’s Management Committee. In his role, Firas leads a team of professionals to manage Investcorp’s corporate reputation, providing strategic communications counsel and support to the firm’s executive leadership team, business leaders and portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Investcorp in 2007, Firas served as Group Corporate Communications Director at Dubai Holding, a diversified conglomerate investment firm. Previously, Firas served in public relations leadership roles with Alsalam Holding in Beirut and Impact & Echo in Kuwait.

He earned a Master’s degree in Political Science from Lebanese American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Beirut University College.

Craig Sinfield-Hain is the Financial Lead for Strategic Projects at Investcorp. Since joining in 2003, he has held several roles within the Finance group, including Financial Controller and Deputy Head of Financial Management. Craig holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and a BSc in Actuarial Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Ishaque Memon leads Investcorp’s Financial Planning and Analysis function and serves as the Group Financial Controller. He brings over 17 years of experience in the alternative asset management and financial services industry. In his current role, Ishaque oversees Investcorp Group’s financial analysis, budgeting, long-range planning, as well as accounting and reporting for Investcorp and its subsidiaries worldwide.Ishaque is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has been with Investcorp for more than 12 years.

Andy Cairns joined Investcorp in May 2025 as a Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance. He has significant transaction experience having led more than $750 billion of M&A, financing and equity. Prior to Investcorp, Andy headed businesses at FAB, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Houlihan Lokey and HSBC. He has worked in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, New York, London and Hong Kong.

 

Richard Kramer is Investcorp’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing Risk Management, Human Resources, Technology, Strategy, and other operational functions.  He is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee as well as its principal operating and investment committees. Prior to joining Investcorp, Richard was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse, where he began his career as an Analyst in the M&A department of Credit Suisse First Boston in London in 1997. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics, a BA from Tufts University, and a CEP Dipl&

Alessandra Berkeley joined Investcorp in July 2021. Her career spans investment banking, strategy and business development, and business management within the Investment Banking Division. She holds a degree in Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University.

Abdulla AlBastaki is Vice President of Human Resources at Investcorp. He joined the firm in 2017 and currently leads HR initiatives across the Gulf, Asia, and India offices. Prior to Investcorp, Abdulla served as Recruitment and Manpower Planning Supervisor at Kuwait Finance House, where he managed recruitment, succession planning, and HR audits. He has also held roles at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance and Al Salam Bank, focusing on HR operations, employee development, and customer service.

Abdulla holds a Master of Business in Human Resource Management from Griffith University, Australia, and a Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management from Queensland University of Technology. He is an Accredited Competency Professional (ILM UK/SMR Group) and has completed advanced coursework with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.

 

Mark Horncastle joined Investcorp as Managing Director and General Counsel in August 2017. He came to Investcorp after 17 years at GE Capital, where he began as General Counsel for GE’s European Private Equity business in 2000. He later led the European M&A Legal Teams for GE Commercial Finance and GE Capital in 2004 and 2009, respectively. In 2011, Mark became General Counsel for GE Capital Real Estate in Europe, and in 2015, for its global business. In 2016, he was appointed General Counsel for GE Capital International. Mark began his legal career in London at Freshfields, an international law firm, where he spent eight years before joining Nomura International in 1999 as a Transaction Manager in its Corporate Finance team, prior to moving to GE Capital. He holds an MA (Hons) in Law from Cambridge University and completed his Law Society Finals at the College of Law, York.

 

Brian Murphy is the Global Chief Compliance Officer at Investcorp. He joined Investcorp in 2005 as Head of Compliance for Investcorp's hedge fund business. Prior to Investcorp, Brian spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs & Co.in various compliance functions including the Equities Institutional Sales Desk in New York and as the Regional Compliance Manager for the San Francisco Office of the Private Wealth Management Division. Brian has worked in other compliance related roles with the FINRA District 10 Office in New York, and in EF Hutton's Legal Department. Brian graduated with a BA in Economics from State University of New York at Stony Brook and received his master’s in business administration from Baruch College. He holds several securities licenses including Series 3, 7, 8, 24, 30,63 and 65.

Saju joined Investcorp in 2005 and currently serves as Co-Head of Technology. In this role, he oversees application development, data and AI initiatives, and the overall information technology strategy.  Saju holds a BSc from Mahatma Gandhi University in India and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
 

Fortune Chigwende joined Investcorp in June 2020 and currently serves as Global Head of Assurance. Previously, she was Head of Internal Audit for Hermes Investment Management at Federated Hermes. Prior to that, she held the role of Deputy Global Head of Internal Audit at Janus Henderson Global Investors, and before the merger between Janus and Henderson, she was Global Head of Internal Audit for Henderson Global Investors. Fortune also worked at Ernst & Young in the United Kingdom, as well as with Deloitte (Cayman Islands), MBCA Bank, and KPMG in Zimbabwe. She holds a Master of Business Leadership and an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science from UNISA, South Africa, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Accountancy. from the University of Zimbabwe. Fortune is also a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, an affiliate member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and a Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe and South Africa).
